My Everyday Makeup Routine (Great for Work!)

Hey guys! I decided I wanted to share with you the makeup products and makeup routine that I’ve been wearing lately. Now that I’m going into an office during the week I’ve created a routine that I wear most days. My routine is quick, long-lasting and won’t smudge too much under a mask. I don’t have to wear a mask at my desk but if I’m in a meeting I do. Because of that I wear a full face but stick to powders since they don’t smudge as much. Let’s get into it.

I usually start with my eyes. I’ve been using the Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Eyeshadow Primer. Using an eyeshadow primer ensures that my eyeshadow stays put throughout the day. For eyeshadow, I’ve been using my project pan product, the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe eyeshadow palette. I’ve been keeping it simple and just using two shades. I use that shade Silk Creme (light brown) in my crease and then Beam (white highlight) on my lid and inner corner. Using the white shade just helps brighten everything up and it doesn’t look too heavy. Then I finish the eyes with mascara. I switch up my mascara depending on my mood but I’ve been loving the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara.

I’ve been extra lately and use two primers. You don’t need to but I like to use a pore minimizing primer in my t-zone and then a dewy highlight on the perimeter of my face. For pore-minimizing I use the NYX Marshmallow Smoothing Primer and for dewiness I use the Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops. While I wait for my primers to sink into the skin I’ll do my brows. I usually just use whatever brow pencil I grab first, but lately I’ve been reaching for the NYX Precision Brow Pencil.

Now for my base, it depends on my mood and how my skin is looking. I’ve been reaching for the Wet n Wild PhotoFocus Dewy Foundation. It has good coverage and is long-lasting but the dewy finish makes it look fresh all day. If I have any spots I need covering on my face I’ll use the TooFaced Shape Tape Concealer. This concealer is full coverage and won’t budge through the day. Under the eyes, I’ll use the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer because it does a great job of brightening my under eyes.

Before I powder my face I go in with my liquid highlight. I’ve been using the Boxycharm x Temptu Liquid Glow since it’s a part of my project pan. Then I use the TooFaced Born This Way Ethereal Setting Powder. To bring some depth back into my face I use the Maybelline City Bronzer and the Tarte Amazonian Clay blush, both of which are product pan products.

To set my face I use two setting sprays, which I know is extra. I spray my face all over with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray. This helps melt all the powders in and make everything last longer. Then I spray my sponge with MAC Prep + Prime Fix + and tab it under my eyes and along my cheekbone. This helps get rid of any creasing under my eyes and helps accentuate my highlight.

Then to finish off the look I’ll go in with a lip product. If I have to wear my mask I’ll wear something matte. If not I’ll wear a gloss. I’ll also match my lipstick to my outfit and jewelry.

Everyday makeup products and routine.

And that is my morning makeup routine. I can do this routine in 15 minutes easily. If I’m running late I’ll skip the eyeshadow and just apply mascara and can do it in 10 minutes. I hope you guys found this useful! Let me know what some of your everyday makeup routine products are in the comments!

xoxo
